About The Brand

Fairy Gloss Muva was founded by Kylah Williams and launched July 10th of 2019. but of course it didn't all start here.

At the young age of 11 years old, I, Kylah, realized that I wanted to start my own lip gloss business. I would watch YouTube videos back to back trying to figure out how to make lipstick out of crayons, yes, crayons lol. I would get in the kitchen and try to use the products I had at home such as Vaseline and crayons. I just knew that would be my business and everything would go as planned. NOT. After about 6 or 7 tries making the lipstick, I gave up. I still wanted to be an entrepreneur but definitely not by making lipstick out of crayons.

As I got older and into high school, I started thinking about how I could sell something and love it at the same time. I literally thought about everything: sunglasses, hair, shoes, clothes, durags, bonnets, you name it. After trying to build a brand on all those items, I realized it was time to return back to my original dream: lip care. Growing into my teenage years, I realized that I did not like wearing lipstick, but I LOVED lip gloss. I started to really think about how I could expand my love for lip care into something different and unique to me. I began to do my research, not really knowing what I was looking for, until I actually found it: pigmented and glitter packed lip gloss. I knew I loved all gloss shiny, but added glitter? I just knew I'd be in love. When it came to pigment, that was a whole new field of gloss to me. I believed that lip gloss could only involve two things: glitter and shine. When I realized you could still have color on your lips without the feeling of wearing lipstick IT WAS ON. I knew that this was something I could expand on and never get tired of.

Entering the business world I knew that I would fit right in. I always had the passion to run events, lead group activities, and put together any fundraisers or activities my school wanted to have. With my knowledge on running campaigns, putting together events, and leading many group activities thrown my way, I knew I had some of the needed essentials to become an entrepreneur. I wrote down everything I wanted to infuse into my business and I put it to action. Here we are today, July 2019, and I'm selling my lip gloss online and on hand. This was personally a dream come true to me, and will one day, mark my words, become nationwide.
